Track season has ended for some of us

With the completion of the TVL finals meet, track season is over for most of the distance runners. Now is the time to rest up for a couple of weeks and then get down to the business of training to win the Sac Joaquin Division 4 title.

Congratulations to the runners who advanced to the Divisional Meet next week.

Becky Hobby, 1st place Girls 1600, 5:13
Max Ortiz, 3rd place, Boys 1600, 4:53
Kaitlynn Daugherty, 3rd place (alt.) Girls 800, 2:39
Aubrey Fisher, 1st place Girls 3200, 12:40 (doubling back off a 5:47 in the 1600)
Keaton Crowder, 2nd place, Boys 3200, 10:38

  1. Kady is the alternate for the girls 800 because of the league's decision to advance Taryn Garza of Modesto Christian, who sat out the meet with an injured hamstring.

Pearl Rivers of Escalon had initially agreed to drop the 800 to let Taryn advance, but apparently has decided to compete in the 800 next week also. That leaves Kady outside, looking in.
