One of the Most Iconic Courses in California!
This Saturday, we'll be heading to Belmot, CA to race on one of the TRULY historic cross country courses in CA, Crystal Springs. The course has been hosting up to 30 meets a year for over 60 years now and some of the best HS runners of all time have raced there. You guys will get your chance in a week!
The course is tough, but not brutal. There are rolling hills the whole way, with one very long uphill in the first mile and a very steep uphill in the last mile. See the course profile
This will be a long day for us, please see the itinerary for what to bring.
I'm not sure if our varsity teams will be assigned to the "championship" division or the regular varsity division. I'd prefer the championship division because racing good teams makes you faster. Plus, we'll have a little more time to chill upon arrival before we have to race if we run in the championship division.
